Following the 2015 announcement that spice giant McCormick & Co. plans to consolidate its current headquarters into one big corporate campus in Hunt Valley, Md., comes the news that the company is putting two of its headquarters buildings up on the market.
The first facility, the four-story 211 Schilling Circle, is located in Hunt Valley, Md., and offers 128,471 square feet of office space on 6 acres of land. The second building, 18 Loveton Circle, has five stories and 145,271 square feet of space on 54 acres of land in Sparks, Md.
CBRE will represent McCormick in the sale of the two corporate buildings, which total more than 273,000 square feet of office space and 60 acres of land along the Interstate 83 North corridor in Baltimore county. The listing price has not been revealed at the time of the statement.
“This sale presents potential buyers with a rare owner-user opportunity in one of Baltimore’s best performing submarkets,” said CBRE Executive Vice President Kevin Wille. “Further, it gives them the chance to own a truly unique piece of Baltimore’s business history.”
McCormick plans to vacate the two buildings at the end of 2018, after three decades of business activity.
